Help make Morro Bay Bird Festival 2026 happen — volunteers are the heart of the festival.
Welcome to the 2027 Morro Bay Bird Festival! We’re delighted that you’ve chosen to be a volunteer.
This year is extra special: it’s our 30th anniversary. And we can’t wait to celebrate with you. What makes the Festival truly special is our small-town hospitality — and our volunteers are at the heart of that. Whether you’re greeting guests, helping at an event, answering questions, or pitching in behind the scenes, our volunteers are always an essential part of what brings the Festival to life.
Thank you for sharing your time and enthusiasm with us. We’re so happy to have you on the team!

Volunteer Form Filling out this form will put your name on the volunteer email notification list. If you volunteered for the 2025 or 2026 festival, there is no need to complete this form; we have your information, and we will contact you before the 2027 festival registration date. Expect a follow-up email with instructions on how to sign up for specific tasks/shifts in mid-October, 2026.
In case we need to reach you during the festival.
